The Sibillini National Park is on our doorstep. Established in 1993, the park stretches over 70,000 hectares and is categorised as a "Park for everybody" where it is possible to see wolves, golden eagles, peregrine falcons, lynx and wild boar.

Lake Fiastra (30 mins) is an enormous, fresh water lake with clear blue water and safe swimming. There are restaurants, bars and shops at the lake and apart from August there is no one there! Take a trip to the Piano Grande, which is virtually inaccessible during winter, but is positively breathtaking in late spring and early summer when the entire plain is transformed into a technicoloured sea of wild flowers. The whole area is a walker's paradise with many mountain paths and guided walks. Rent a bike and explore at your pace.
