Adventure Parks
Near to Norcia and Visso in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains is an adventure playground with zipwires, climbing and loads of excitement for all ages. There is another adventure Park in Cingoli in the heart of Le Marche, a wonderful town worth visiting in its own right for its views, architecture and lake, this adventure park makes it a trip for the whole family.
Biking
Twenty minutes from the villa you can hire bikes. Everything is included in the hire cost, including helmets, car rack, water bottles and locks. For a great day out check out the guided bike tours of varying degrees of difficulty - from easy up! Everything is taken care of and you will experience the natural beauty of this region first hand.
Caving
Whether you are enthusiasts, or simply want to try a different experience, the Frasassi Caves have two adventure trails of varying difficulty (not to be confused with the general tourist trail): the blue trail (which lasts approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes) and the red trail (which lasts approximately 4 hours). Small groups of visitors, accompanied by expert guides, can pass through underground passages, narrow pathways and shafts and admire the splendid rooms concealed from the gaze of "normal" tourists. All of the equipment needed is provided on site and included in the cost of the trail.
Extreme sports, Kayaking, White Water Rafting & Climbing
Norcia is a wonderful medieval town in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains only 90 minutes from the villa and is home to many outdoor pursuits and extreme sports and survival courses which can be experienced under the watchful eyes of trained instructors at the Outdoor Activity Centre. So, if you fancy that white water rafting trip, kayaking through gorges that are home to wolves and eagles or fancy canyoning, orienteering or free climbing, or most other mountain or water based extreme sports then a visit to Norcia is essential during your visit. Alternatively, bring your group for some team building or go mule trekking in Le Marche and Umbria and let someone else do the donkey work.
Golf
The nearest course is the Conero Golf Club at Sirolo which is an hour away, near the airport. It has two courses, an 18 hole and a 9 hole executive course which nestle in the hills of the Conero National Park overlooking the sea. Green fees are around €70 and clubs can be hired. Present your RyanAir flight ticket to get a discount.
Hang-gliding and Parascending
The nearest extreme sports in Le Marche are 20 minutes from the villa, where you will find a hang-gliding and parascending school. Tandem tourist flights are available over the wonderful countryside near us from May to October. Ninety minutes away is the ProDelta School who also offer 2-seater flights for tourists. Horse Racing
Visit Montegiorgio, 40 minutes from us if you fancy a day or night of watching and betting on horse racing Italian style (with riders in traps). Click here for details.

Quad Bikes, Mountain Bikes, Pedaloes & Canoes
If you fancy something more active than the beach or lunch at the local trattoria, you can hire bikes, canoes or pedaloes or rent quad bikes at the picturesque Lake Fiastra, 40 minutes away in the mountains.
Tennis
There are municipal courts in San Ginesio so remember to bring your racquets.
Skiing & Snowboarding
Forty minutes from us is Sassotetto, the main resort for Le Marche skiing and snowboarding, its an ideal Italian ski resort for beginners or for those who need a ski weekend. The ski resort has 10 drag/chairlifts, 9 pistes plus off piste action available. At this Marche ski resort there are a couple of restaurants, ski, snowbaord & boot hire plus ski pass sales. There is a regular bus service from Sarnano to Sassotetto so you can combine your ski holiday in Italy with sightseeing and culture. Sky Diving
Drive to Porto San Giorgio on the coast and experience the ultimate adrenaline rush and see the Le Marche countryside from an entirely different perspective on a Marche sky diving course. These include weekend "First Jump" courses for the novice.
Swimming
Our swimming pool is 10 metres long and has a stunning view of the countryside. Swimming is also available locally at Lake Fiastra, which has beaches and restaurants, in San Ginesio at the lido and at the great beaches on the coast 45 mins away. Watersports
Within easy reach are the Le Marche yacht club at Porto San Giorgio, windsurfing at Civitanova Marche and Porto Sant'Elpidio, sailing at Civitanova, canoeing at Lake Fiastra, and PADI diving at Numana, where you can obtain your PADI certificate on diving courses there or bring your PADI certificate and go out for dives amongst the rocky outcrops in the Conero National Park.
